Map Editor : How to set up a spotlight

Open the content browser, click on the “Actor Classes” tab, and search for “Spotlight“:

Drag and drop the spotlight in the viewport:

Open the spotlight properties and set the desired radius : Light > Light Component > Point Light Component > Radius
Here, Radius = 1024.

Open the spotlight properties and set the desired radius : Light > Light Component > Point Light Component > Radius
Here, Radius = 728.

It is possible to change the hot spot of the light: Light > Light Component > Spot Light Component > Inner Cone Angle

Here, Inner Cone Angle = 25 :

Here, Inner Cone Angle = 40 :

We can now change the max light’s effect angle with the parameter named “Outer Cone Angle“: Light > Light Component > Spot Light Component > Outer Cone Angle

Here, Outer Cone Angle = 20:

Here, Outer Cone Angle = 60:
