Map-Editor?

Post by jackycola » Dec 3rd, 2017, 11:38 am

I'd like to be able to create maps on my own. I basically know how to create the map but not how to setup the software. I know from UT where the editor is shipped with the game as own executable. Maybe you could provide that feature in the future if it is not too much work?

Yes, you will be able to create your maps from the game directly. We have an in-game editor (proto). At this moment, it is not accessible.
I hope to release the first version in 2-3 weeks. Meanwhile, take a look here :

ye nice, but it should be possible to use a "real" map editor. i dont know if it is possible but like in ut2004 the original editor was simply shipped with the game.

this ingame stuff is nice but for everyone who can use ued or Unreal engine its just a toy... and I think you should be interested in high quality maps from the community.

In fact, we cannot release the game with the UE3 Editor (maybe later).
The "in-game" editor has a lot of defaults when we know what the UE3 editor is able to do, but we want to have an easy tool for the community to use.
